STUDENT MOBILIZATION (StuMo)

StuMo & Campus Outreach love partnering together!

Check out the video and FAQs to learn more about how these ministries work together.

  • Similar to StuMo, Campus Outreach places a very high value on evangelism and one-on-one discipleship. Ministry on campus looks very similar to how you would have done it in college. Campus Outreach also has catalytic events like a Kaleo, International Summer Teams called Cross Cultural Projects, and a winter conference like SMC called New Year’s Conference that are used to help develop students and share the Gospel with them.

  • Each location has a LEAD supervisor that will meet regularly with you throughout your time overseas, helping you transition to your new country, role, and team. They will also provide you with resources and assessments. Every location is also connected to and under the authority of a local church. This is an excellent opportunity to serve and be invested in by local believers!

  • The vision of Campus Outreach is “Glorifying God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world.” StuMo’s vision is “Building laborers for Christ from the college campuses of the world.” They sound oddly familiar don’t they! LEAD Staff are absolutely necessary and vital to building laborers on these international campuses by fostering relationships with students to share the gospel with them and mentor them in their faith.

  • The application process is the same. When selecting a “Campus Ministry Region” on the Interest Form, you will find StuMo listed as one of the options. Upon completion of the application, you will continue the same process as the rest of the applicants: interviewing, taking a mental health assessment, committing to a location, raising support, pre-deploy training, and launching to the field.
