Associate Members:

Given the current state of the global community, particularly the United States’ involvement therein, the need for individuals who support COLEAD’s goals of building a better, safer, and more prosperous and just world has never been greater. Therefore, we have created a special category of membership for those who would like to be kept better informed directly about COLEAD and our member organizations’ activities and ways that you can support our efforts. As an associate member, you will be sent messages about foreign affairs, the current status of funding for our international programs, and updates posted on our website. This membership would be especially useful to those who want to follow closely events here in Washington that impact upon America’s engagement with the world beyond our borders.

Associate members will also receive invitations to meetings in and around your area that may be of interest to you. We will also be able to put you in contact with our member groups that are able to allow you to further make international issues more relevant to your community.

We are currently building increased cooperation on the grassroots level. Foreign affairs organizations, civic groups and individuals (particularly Associate Members) can help us expand and grow these efforts. We will happily work closely with you to begin these efforts in your area.

Associate membership costs only $20.00 per year. By adding your voice to the already large number of organizations and individuals working with COLEAD to insure that our foreign affairs programs (including The Peace Corps, USAID programs, international cultural and educational exchanges and the US Foreign Service among others) are fully funded and supported, you can help make America an increasingly effective leader in bringing about positive global changes.
